Well, it's NAB time again, and that means Vegas, beh-beh! A short jaunt to Indianapolis and then a longer jaunt with my current client/boss out to Vegas, we met our third at the Vegas airport (another colleague), and proceeded to our hotel, the MGM Grand. Nothing much happening this night, so we grabbed some grub, and made our way down most of the strip (in the process gaining $40, but then losing that plus $60 to the cold, heartless slots), to the Mirage, just in time to see the volcano erupt. Grabbed a 10-trip ticket and took the new monorail back (it was built for NAB last year, but they were still testing while the event lumbered on), and went to bed at a halfway decent hour (at least by Las Vegas standards).
