  • Golden Bull

For whatever reason, I had some Red Bull sitting in my fridge, so I decided to make something palatable out of it. It’s still not all that palatable, but here’s the “Golden Bull.” The rum gives it some bite, which is balanced out by the honey sweetness of the Barenjäger:

    – 1 oz Jamaican Rum (brand doesn’t matter so much here, as the Red Bull taste is pretty overpowering)
    – 1/2 oz Barenjager (Honey Liquer)
    – 3 oz Red Bull

Put everything in an old fashioned glass on the rocks, and give to someone who really likes Red Bull, because as much as I tried to tart it up, it still has that awful Red Bull flavor.

    *Enjoy!*

    > In 1995, Bob Staake started creating his illustrations digitally using Adobe Photoshop 3.0.

    > In 2008, he still exclusively uses the program — with the help of a mouse, a 17″ monitor, and a standard keyboard.

That’s right— not CS3, but *3.0*. Nice work.

There are four time-lapse videos on his site, but here’s one to whet your appetite:
