  • Making a habit

    This weekend, I bought a used elliptical trainer, so I have no more excuses. So, today is day two of exercising; get up, toss on some duds and go downstairs and “pedal” for a half hour while I watch the previous night’s The Daily Show. I wouldn’t dare to call it exercising “regularly” yet, but I think it’s a good start. The real trick was finding something to occupy my mind while my body does its thing.

    Oh, and stretching afterwards is really important. I feel like I have more energy already, and not as sore as I thought I might. Yay!

  • Clue Detective Notes for OmniOutliner

    For those of us that are incapable of using just a simple pencil and paper to keep track of your "detective notes" while playing clue, here’s an OmniOutliner template with pop-up lists for checking off whether you have it, or one of the other players — all six player names are included for completeness, or replace them with the actual names of the people you’re playing against.

  • Yay! Back Online!

    SITM (and several of my other websites) are now back online. They were off for a couple of weeks due to a leaking pipe in our house that was flooding the wall next to all my computer and video equipment, not to mention the master jack for the FiOS connection to my house. We’ll be investigating a backup server solution so this doesn’t happen again. But for now at least, we’re back in business. Yay!

    I was going to buy a new t-shirt with this design, because I used to have one that I loved for all of a day, and then the first time it got washed it shrunk beyond fitting. (Darn close-cut American Apparel shirts.) So rather than wasting money on a new one, I post one here, in memoriam.
