Busted?

Well, after taking on the phone alternately with GEICO and the Gaithersburg City Police for the last hour, an officer called me and said he would be coming out to take prints from the car and that they had recovered at least come of my property in an arrest made last night. So, having put my name on my battery jumper box finally paid off. How cool is that?

The officer on duty then comes back on line at 8pm, so I should be hearing from him tonight, and I may even get my stuff back. That just makes me feel oh-so-slightly better about the whole thing.
