So I heard on WTOP this morning that President Bush is leaving on a 5-day "goodwill tour" of Africa. In the meantime, the commander who led American forces to dubious victory in Afghanistan and Iraq setps down to let his sucessor handle the tougher job of making peace. Is it just me, or does anyone else think this all sounds like some plot straight out of Dave?
