Illegal Art and Threadgill (and Shag)

Posted on 2003-07-28 by Mark Boszko
This post was published more than a few years ago (on 2003-07-28) and may contain inaccurate technical information, outmoded thoughts, or cringe takes. Proceed at your own risk.

While perusing a site about the Illegal Art exhibition (think a Mickey Mouse gas mask, an alphabet made from corporate logo letters, and a "Corporate Whore" parody of the Starbucks logo), I discovered one of the contributing artists, Threadgill, who creates some incredible artwork... very clean and clever, and reminds me in a way of another of my favorite artists, Shag.

Some amusing things of note on Threadgills pages; The Atlas Monsters in Creamy Goodness, Buzz Aldrin's Conspiracy Smackdown and My Dictatorship. But, by all means, please visit the entire site.
