HURRICANE!

Well, we had hurricane Isabel come through last night, and we're none the worse for wear. As I understand it, there's trees down all over the DC area, and power and traffic lights out... but I haven't seen it yet. I'm still at home all comfy and warm, with power and DSL. Mmmm...

You'll notice the bobcam is back at the right of the boblog homepage (if you click on it, you can see a live image). I started it just after midnight on the 18th, and have been capturing a frame a minute since, documenting the course of the storm out my den window. Of course, most of the storm passed through around midnight, so it may have been a little hard to see... We'll find out at midnight tonight, when I compile all those frames into a time lapse movie of the previous 48 hours. You'll see it here when it's done.

I'll be off to work soon, and hopefully they have power. I've got a lot to do. ::sigh:: Ah, well.

Wheeee!
