And in the end…

I just finished Cowboy Bebop.

All of it.

:: deep breath ::

Watched the movie last night, and it took me a while to get back used to the faster pace of the episodes tonight. The movie, as it tuned out, needed to come before the last three episodes (one standalone, and the 2-parter), not just the 2-parter that I watched tonight. The one just before that is the one where everything changes. Oh well.

Anyway... I'm sad that it's finally over. I borrowed them from AAl, but I'm going to have to get these for myself.

Noticed the last line at the end of the final episode was "You're gonna carry that weight a long time." So, I pulled up the last few songs of Abbey Road: Golden Slumbers, Carry that Weight and The End. Other than being a very nice little coda to the evening, I'm not sure what the reference was, aside from a thematic one. In any case... it flowed well.

Interestingly, when I plugged in "cowboy bebop beatles you're gonna carry that weight" into Google, this cool little page was the only relevant link that popped up.

SEE YOU, SPACE COWBOY
