Trying out MarsEdit made me realize it's been quite a while since I've tried Ecto, a competing blogging tool, and looking at the new version, I think I like it. I really prefer the rich text editing area, but it's also nice to have the option of going back to the HTML when I need to do something schmancy. I also really appreciate the iPhoto, iTunes and Amazon integration. For instance, right now, I'm listening to:

That's pretty slick. Yeah, this may just be going into my arsenal. Still not quite as nice as seeing my words in my website as I type them, but at least I don't have to be online to write.
