Amazon Upgrade

Posted on 2008-01-02 by Mark Boszko

When I ordered a recent After Effects tutorials book, I was offered a Digital Upgrade from Amazon. I took the offer, not looking very closely, but later found that it doesn’t include any of the files that may be on any attached disc(s)— just the scanned pages. Just an FYI.

By the time you read this, BeerMediaTech 001 should be up and available for your listening pleasure. Still getting some kinks out of the format (and we rambled quite a lot), but it was at least fun to record! Click here to get the full show notes: , or listen right here: powered by ODEO

BMW 525i (1990)

Posted on 2007-09-25 by Mark Boszko

My Saturn was dying, so I finally got a replacement car end of last week– a 1990 BMW 525i. It’s a little beat up on the exterior, but the engine seems in good shape and aside from a bit of peeling paint and a little parking lot accident crunch in the front right side, it’s…

So, in the interest of being complete, I went over my entire history, including my GreenCine subscription (which I have because they carry some rare movies that Netflix doesn’t) and RedBox rentals (which I use every once in…

Ch-ch-check it out

Posted on 2007-07-212015-08-12 by Mark Boszko

Things that I’m looking forward to, or checking out right now: Fictionplane: Band fronted by Joe Summer, Sting’s son. Saw them last night, opening for The Police. Quite possibly the best opening band I’ve ever seen. The Simpsons Movie Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man (he’s become one of my favorite actors after 2005’s Kiss…

Getting RubyCocoa running once you install Safari 3 Beta

Posted on 2007-07-16 by Mark Boszko

If, like me, you were foolish enough to install the Safari 3 beta, and are now wondering why the heck RubyCocoa won’t work (or worse yet, why the install keeps failing), check out the article Safari 2, Safari 3, Adium & forcing WebKit Frameworks from SubtleGradient.com. Once I went through the steps outlined here, things…
