Author: Mark Boszko

Mark is easily distracted and seems not to require sleep. However, this is an illusion. He is mortal, like you. Perhaps doubly so. He makes videos and a little bit of art and design. He also watches way too many movies and jokes around on Twitter.

Posted on 2004-05-26 by Mark Boszko

Oooooh… I’ve been waiting for this. LaCie has announced external dual-layer DVD-burners, which essentially lets you burn your own DVD-9 discs (with nearly twice the capacity of normal DVD-Rs) at home. That means 4+ hours of best quality video on a single disc. w00t!

WordPress, Here I Come

Posted on 2004-05-25 by Mark Boszko

Okey, now I’m definitely moving over. Into the Oracle — Arol Zendik

AAl just sent me this link to Escher’s “Relativity” in LEGO. A pretty amazing feat of LEGO engineering, with links to a few other Escher drawings that the author has built with LEGO blocks. The extended construction photos are quite amazing.

This Old Mac

Posted on 2004-05-21 by Mark Boszko

In recent days, two Flash-programmed replicas of old Macintosh computers have appeared on the radar. For your enjoyment: Web SEThe better of the two, in English or German. A remarkably faithful rendition of System 7 with equally accurate software, right down to the After Dark control panel, and the MyEyes eyeballs that used to sit…
